2nd International Conference on Biodiversity in the Congo Basin (Registration are opened)

Registrations and abstract submissions for the 2nd International Conference on Biodiversity in the Congo Basin are now open! 

With great pleasure we would like to invite you at the 2nd International Conference on Biodiversity in the Congo Basin, which will take place on March 6-10, 2023 in Kisangani, DR Congo.  

With the post-2020 global biodiversity framework of the Convention on Biological Diversity and the Sustainable Development Goals as background, the conference addresses the challenges to preserve the natural environment of the Congo Basin, taking into account the links between biodiversity, health, climate and resilient social ecological systems.

You can only register by filling in the registration form on the conference website.  

The general deadline to submit an abstract is June 30, 2022.      

Grants are available to cover registration costs, travel expenses, accommodation and a moderate daily subsistence allowance. Only candidates from countries in the Congo Basin and adjacent countries are eligible.      

If you want to apply for a grant to attend the conference, please submit your abstract for an oral or poster presentation about one of the conference themes before May 31, 2022.
