Briefing Webinars for SBSTTA-24 and SBI-3

Four briefing webinars are planned as follows:

• Briefing Webinar 1 on Tuesday, 19 January 2021. SBI 3 agenda item 5: relating to the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework process.

• Briefing Webinar 2 on Thursday, 21 January 2021. SBI 3 agenda item 9: on enhancing reporting and review mechanisms with a view to strengthening the implementation of the Convention.

• Briefing Webinar 3 on Tuesday, 26 January 2021. SBSTTA 24 agenda item 3: on the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework; scientific and technical information to support the review of the updated goals and targets, and related indicators and baselines.

• Briefing Webinar 4 (part 1) on Thursday, 28 January 2021. SBSTTA 24 agenda items 4 (Synthetic biology), 5 (Risk assessment and risk management of living modified organisms), and 6 (Marine and coastal biodiversity).

• Briefing Webinar 4 (part 2) on Tuesday, 2 February 2021. SBSTTA 24 agenda items 7 (Biodiversity and agriculture), 8 (Programme of work of the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services), 9 (Biodiversity and health), and 10 (Invasive alien species).
